Insight supports a transition from a potentially inaccurate and limited understanding approach and towards an accurate and deep understanding of self and life.
As improvement of thought patterns and behaviours are felt and noticed, we witness a development from a defensive or unhealthy style of coping and towards an improved, mindful and naturally aligned way of living.
At this stage of therapy, possibly, a theme is beginning to emerge that of a developmental nature within the therapeutic process. We are consciously and proactively assisting a natural developmental process of self.
